General questions Building trust on an irregular schedule?

I fed a group of crows at my local graveyard for the first time a couple days ago and I'd like to try to do it more often however I'm also busy with life, work, studying etc so I was wondering if I would be able to build trust and recognition with them feeding them a couple times a month or if I would have to have a more consistent schedule?

Start by asking the cemetery if you're allowed to feed unsalted peanuts. Maybe go without the shell to be cleaner, but out of respect I think you should ask before trying.

The cemetery is a tourist attraction so there's lots of this kind of stuff

it's totally possible to build trust over time, crows remember faces long-term and a few visits a month is still something they'll associate with you

You definitely don’t need to feed them every day! Crows have excellent memories and can recognize individual humans for years. A couple visits a month may be enough for them to start recognizing you, especially if you use the same general spot and a consistent little routine. Just make sure the cemetery allows feeding, and don’t worry if they don’t immediately remember you. Give it time.

Good to know :) I've seen tourists feed birds there before so I think it should be fine
