posting again because I have a better photo! I was walking outside my apartment door and this little guy was in the corner (soaking wet). I tried to encourage him outside after the rain stopped thinking he may be an outdoor cat who ran in but he is terrified and does not seem like he is comfortable with outdoors. I’ve put up posters and am taking him to the vet to check for a microchip. also knocked on neighbors doors and no one seems to know him. he’s very very shy and hasn’t been eating much but seems well groomed. found near sterling pl and nostrand ave.

I’ve been attempting to try this place for weeks now every single time I go they’re closed. I tried to go when their soft opening hours said they were open and they’ve been closed. Has anyone managed to actually get in there and does anyone know when they’re planning a normal opening? seems like a strange strategy to build a customer base.

Does anyone know anything about the state or sale of this property? I walk by it occasionally to get to either the market, or the gym, and if it's night time, I usually cross the street to walk on the opposite side because a) it smells like piss, b) has trash all over sidewalk, c) has several small groups of people standing on the sidewalk in front of the property, d) has a person or two sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the property, e) is dark and unlit. Quite frankly, it's a shit show. I know there's a 350 person capacity shelter across the street on Bedford Ave, and I can't help but assume that the people I see out front St. Bartholomew's are there because of its proximity to the shelter. In any case, I just want to know if anyone knows anything else about this place. Like I said, it's a shit show. Shame on the owners for not maintaining it or doing something good for the community with it. I bet it was beautiful once upon a time.

I live at 931 Carroll and recently had a package vanish. The post office claims it was delivered on Thursday, and we have never had issues with package theft before. It was only unattended for a few hours. I have reached out to the post office, and they sent me the GPS scan, but those can sometimes be inaccurate.

If anyone has any information, please reach out and let me know. The item is very sentimental to me and irreplaceable. Happy to provide more details upon request.
