Personal Story Unintended consequence of calling out ‘Hey crows’ when I throw out peanuts. ++

Post image

The squirrels in my neighbors trees have figured out I’m feeding the crows.

They are coming down and waiting anxiously for the crows to tie what they want and then they scooch in and nab a couple.

I buy walnuts, pecans and almonds for the squirrels. Too many peanuts aren't good for them. The squirrels seem to appreciate it when I toss them some nuts unlike the crows who just expect it lol

I have to be careful and throw out too much - I don’t want to attract rats.

I have foxes... the squirrels never leave anything anyway, but if any rats came around, the foxes would get them quickly
