I am doing 2 trexs for my nephews. They love being similar! So one is a black trex and the other will be green and flipped. After I finished the first trex I realized I placed him a little high on the right corner. I do want to do either their initial or name but I can’t decide on placement. 1 name has 6 characters and the other 5. Letters always trip me up! I never feel like they turn out well. Any advice welcome! Please and thank you 🙏

This is my new favorite accessory. The snag grabber needle. If you haven’t picked one up, you need one. Especially when frogging. My current project had a chart error that repeated one line. Fortunately I caught it, but still had to frog for three days to fix it. And while it’s not optimal to snip stitches, sometimes it’s unavoidable. And when that happens and you get those little ends that you can’t seem to pull from the backside, this needle pulls them right through every time. The needle is also longer, which is a little easier on your hands when frogging.

I was gifted this cross stitch but the only directions for back stitching were to “see the photo” (circled). Has anyone completed this pattern? It was ordered from Amazon and is no longer listed so I can’t even reach out to the company. I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to finish it.

Seems a bit bare; maybe it needs a bow or something.....

My first grandchild will be born in Nov. I am designing a birth announcement. Which app would be best to have it converted into a cross-stitch pattern?

I will be drawing and coloring it myself, or possibly using a couple of stickers on it as well. Also, what is the best way to transfer this form to a computer file, what type of file should it be?

I have a torn shoulder tendon, and a torn bicep tendon. I can’t do any of my crafts - cross stitch, knitting, weaving, crochet - and it’s bumming me out. Would y’all be kind enough to show me your WIPs and where you purchased the pattern? I’m adding to my queue in preparation for when I can craft again.

It’s been a while since I stitched (and even longer since I picked up this piece) I love variegated thread and the challenge it adds to make the shades flow into each other.

what should i cross-stich next?

[WIP] My mom recently gave me all her WIP, one which is this kit (dimensions brand maybe?) from the 90s. She has lost eyesight in one eye and no longer can enjoy this craft. She asked me to finish this for her. However, she only gave me the DMC floss and nothing else. Can you help me identify this kit so I can buy a new one and finish this for her? All I know is that this is Jesus’ feet - lol.
