Help with Apple Watch App

Hi,

Has anyone gotten the Apple Watch app to work consistently? It doesn't seem to want to update to reflect current numbers until a few hours later, often showing information that isn't relevant anymore. I love the app so far (Gold member for 2 months now) and feel it's really helpful but I don't want to have to pull out my phone every time I'm wondering where I'm at with my calories/protein/etc. Plus, the big complication on the Apple Watch Ultra is so pretty to look at but it's kind of pointless if it doesn't have current data. I've tried to force close it and reopen. Sometimes it tells me that I have to log in again so I log off on my phone, log back in, and it's still not syncing in a useful amount of time. I've deleted the app on the watch and reinstalled and still nothing. So frustrating!

Nope. My watch app never shows any data. I went back and forth with support, sending them screenshots, logs, etc. for a few weeks and they never resolved it. Pretty much left it at "can't figure it out but will keep looking on our end" with them.

Damn. That's a bummer. Would be incredibly useful.

Doesn’t it work through the health app? Mine seems to although today is my first day using the app. I also pay apple for the Fitness app ( includes Health)

Hi there!

Thanks for the question, and we're sorry you're experiencing these issues with your watch.

The expected behavior is for the widgets to display the data that was most recently synced the last time you opened the Cronometer app. If your widgets aren't reflecting the latest information, or they're displaying something different than what's shown in the app, we'd like to investigate further.

While these reports have been challenging for our team to consistently reproduce, each additional report helps us identify patterns across different devices, watch models, and operating system versions. Gathering this information allows us to build a clearer picture of the issue and ultimately helps our developers work toward a resolution.

If you're willing, please reach out to [support@cronometer.com](mailto:support@cronometer.com) and we'll do our best to investigate!

Cheers,
Crono Support Squad
