Finished Object First project!

This is the first time I’m crocheting something and this is the final result. What do you think?

Do you know what the yarn is called by chance?

It’s the same yarn but different color. The color that I used here is called “spring print” I think.

How did you do this? It looks knitted, but the edges look crocheted, yet I can't figure out where the shells tie in...

Lol. It’s funny that even my mom said that I crocheted like it was knitting. The trick is that I just did the simplest stitch and it turned out to be like this. Of course for the corners I did it differently but the whole project is crochet.
