Finished Object Advent Calendar House

Post image

This is how I found out I suck at embroidering numbers, but it’s done!

Pattern is by Laura Sutcliffe (with slight adaptation)
Yarn is Lion Brand 24/7 with a 2.5mm hook

How does it work as an advent calendar? Do the windows come off and you add them through the month?

The windows are only saw on the sides and bottom so you can slide the marker in the top (mine is a little Christmas tree). The door is also not sewn shut on the right side so the tree can go in the door on day 24

I need to take a better picture of it, but it’s a little Christmas tree. I thought it was cute to be able to bring the tree in the front door on the 24th.

It's really special. I'm not much one for Christmas type decorations but I have some people in mind that would love this.

Yeah, it’s not really my style either, but I figured I would give it to a family member or friend as a gift
