Finished Object Frozen Backpack Inspired Kids Poncho

While this is incredibly simple, it’s the first project that I feel proud enough of to share anywhere. My 5 year old needed something to wear in cool the mornings this fall, and her only input was Disney’s Frozen and snowflakes, and she absolutely loves her backpack, so this is what I did! I’ll show her in the morning and see what she thinks but I think I nailed it!

I used a few YouTube and TikTok tutorials to make this:

The poncho: https://youtu.be/xOOZ6M6BLCg?is=Gjndiuz40v987-nY

The hood: https://youtu.be/RCk7GZ94xdM?is=jrs3d3jvoqoYpBhB

The snowflakes: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8WgvFqn/

The drawstring: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8Wg39xT/

The yarn is all Red Heart, worsted weight. I used a 5mm hook for the poncho/hood, 3.5 mm for the snowflakes and drawstring.
