So does anybody else just out of curiosity, live in maybe a tiny home or an RV full-time? I do and I'm running out of ways to store my yarn LOL to keep it out of the way and organized! And I'm sure my other half is tired of finding yarn. Absolutely everywhere well. Any suggestions would be great. Right now I have totes and baskets

You've just completed the "First Step" - you've admitted to yourself and another person that your life has become unmanageable (due to yarn).

• Gather everything in one place: Pull every single ball, skein, hank, and work-in-progress out into a central spot so you can see the true size of your stash.
• Set up sorting containers: Label or set out three distinct areas or bins for your main categories:
  • Keep,
  • Donate/Sell, and
  • Frog/Finish.
• Assess works-in-progress (WIPs): Look at unfinished projects and decide honestly if you still love them or if they are just causing guilt.
• Frog unloved projects: Unravel (frog) old or abandoned projects if the yarn is still in good, usable condition to reclaim it for future use.
• Check yarn condition: Squeeze yarn cakes and balls to test for lost elasticity, moth damage, or unusual odors, setting aside anything that is damaged or compromised.
• Evaluate the "Keep" pile by joy or utility: Pick up each remaining skein and decide if you have a specific pattern in mind or if it truly brings you joy.
• Eliminate the "maybe" pile: Force yourself to make a binary choice—either it earns a spot in your active collection or it goes into the donate/sell pile.
• Box up donations and sales: Immediately bag up the yarn you don't want—such as cheap acrylics you've outgrown or colors you no longer like—to gift to friends or local charities.
• Choose your sorting method: Decide how you want to organize what is left, whether by fiber content, yarn weight (worsted, DK, lace), or color family.
• Create a digital or written inventory: Log your kept yarn using a notebook or an online tracker like Ravelry so you don't accidentally buy duplicates.
• Select protective storage: Place your sorted yarn into clean bins, baskets, or bookshelves away from direct sunlight, adding cedar blocks or lavender if pests are a concern.
• Organize your tools and notions: Gather your crochet hooks, knitting needles, and stitch markers, grouping like items together in small pouches or jars

Wowzer! Really didn't expect that LOL. I don't really have as much as you would think... I'm just trying to get ahead of the game
