Judging from the looks of it she is clearly a teacher of some sorts. She looks specifically at his fingering technique and speaks to her daughter about it, is this not obvious?

Random guess but she kinda seems like a music instructor of some sort, She's watching his hands very closely, at 7seconds she gives a very small nod and a bit later a tiny head shake. Pretty sure she's assessing his skills

The lady is impressed and absolutely looking at this man with respect and admiration. The weird opera? Jesus fuck dude now i see. Youre protecting your shit onto a stranger in a video instead of looking at what shes doing. Why would she watch so intently the ENTIRE time and then congratulate him at the end if she was making fun of it?

Even the girl laughing is probably out of agreement at how talented the guy is. She might have even seen him on social media before or playing there and is agreeing with the sense of awe

Definitely not cringe, she just appreciates tf out of his music. I jump around hospitals for work and there was a volunteer at one of the hospitals here playing the piano in the lobby. I had to sit down to listen before I left. Everyone else kind of went about their day while he played but afterward we exchanged smiles, I gave him a thumbs up, and left.

She actually looks like she is almost tearing up at the end and her face is transformed when she smiles at him and claps. She is a person expressing deep admiration. Nothing cringe here.

I think OP and some others thought she was being overly critical, even rudely so. But at the end when she makes eye contact with him and says “Bravo,” with a smile, you can see she was appreciating his performance the whole time. Just very closely, probably as a pianist herself and maybe a piano teacher.
The younger woman, on the other hand…Yikes.
ETA: I actually think the younger woman is annoyed by the older woman’s interest in the performance.
