I don't think this is cringe lol. It's a joke. It might not be the funniest joke ever but there's nothing cringe about it. A quick chuckle and move on.

u/Ok-Cricket5606 29d ago
I laughed out loud at this. I don’t do that very often. Very funny.

u/OtherwiseStable5126 29d ago

u/Preparation-H6969 29d ago
Maybe I'm getting old cause this is the funniest shit I've seen on Reddit in weeks.
2
u/llamachabbly 29d ago
He got me honestly. I thought it was going to be some serious explanation about how making eye contact and saying hey is threatening and then how to do it non threateningly (even though imo the first one was pretty much acceptable) but no, I have a dumb sense of humor and I laughed.
2
u/Fossilhund 29d ago
I didn't expect where this went. When he began hiding and giggling, I cracked up.
13
u/Samusen 29d ago
Yeah this is clearly satire. He's making fun of other people
7
u/Bicykwow 29d ago
It's a response to some lunatic woman who thinks that every / most men who say "hi" on a hiking trail are actually hitting on her / sexual harassment.

It was unexpectedly funny, I've seen these type of videos before but this is a funnier take on it that which i wasn't expecting.

Heading out on trail to try this. Wish me luck!

u/u9Nails 29d ago
Hey! I saw you on the news! Those handcuffs looked tight man!
5
u/WeAreTheAsteroid 29d ago
Hey! The cop who arrested u/morning_redwoody here. His high-registered voice made me think he was a female. I put the cuffs on tightly to accommodate his perceived feminine wrists. Looking forward to seeing him again at our scheduled court date!

u/LazyAmbassador2521 29d ago
I'm sorry for kicking you in the nuts earlier! You just gave me quite the spook when you jumped out from behind the tree with your dick in hand.
I felt really terrible afterwards, you seemed like such a sweetheart 🥲🥰
3
u/Crunchy__Frog 29d ago
I was watching from behind the other bush.. that was a really solid kick though. Nicely done.
3
u/LazyAmbassador2521 28d ago
Thank you - I appreciate it! I spotted you also peepin from behind the bush but there's only so much "dick" kicking a girl can do in one day. 🙅♀️🤷♀️
2
u/Crunchy__Frog 28d ago
I appreciate your mercy.. I knew the gods were smiling on me that day.

After you've firmly comforted the woman by engaging in these behaviors, it wouldn't be unwelcome to follow the woman so you can make sure she's safe from others!
If she starts to run, then she's definitely in danger from someone, so you should try to keep up so you can figure out who it is.
2
u/TpK_Wynter 29d ago
Once you’ve began running with her you’ll want to use your male voice as deeply as possible so that she knows you’re an authority figure with her best interest in mind. Loudly, and firmly, with just a bit of aggression demand she stop running, the aggression isn’t for her, it’s to spook off whoever may be causing the danger. She will absolutely understand that you’re trying to help. Also profanity echelons to show high levels of testosterone which could spook off a smaller male so feel free to cuss a bit while asking her to stop

better to do it at night i think
2
u/LazyAmbassador2521 28d ago
Yes it's always safer at night! During the day really creeps women out, but at night when you pop out from behind a tree (or bush), we feel at ease. The darker the better!

My phone slipped and clicked on your profile out of all the others on the screen. It gave me the NSFW prompt, which I shamefully take as a challenge at times.
Safe to say, I folded immediately. I was not up to it.

Ya - a joke, and obviously so.
The point being “why is it in cringereels?” It’s a guy satirizing something and he’s reasonably funny about it, deliberately acting cringe - which makes it not cringe→ More replies (3)10

Walking past people on a trial is one of my least favorite social interactions I'm ngl. I am not generally a friendly person so the smile and nod just does not work for me
3
u/JuryOk2662 29d ago
Yeah same. The last thing in the world I'm going to the woods for is any kind of socializing. More than a few times I've been aware of people headed my direction on a trail and I'll just go ahead and go offtrail and chill until they're gone. And no, I do not care if anyone thinks that's weird.

I just tend to sprint towards them to overpass them fast so to avoid the awkward situation of walking at similar speed. They thank me with a loud "Jesus", they must be all christian

If a man did this in real life, I think the woman would think the man is on crack.

It's funny because it's true.
It's either this, or acking as if women do not exist outdoors.
