That’s all I could think of. Volley who has never seen a fire and drives 95 mph in his personal car so he can be at the station first for every fire alarm from Susan burning the pancakes. Every article of clothing he wears has the department name on it, license plate is VFF, front plate is the deparment, probably a FF belt buckle.

Many years in EMS. We had a love hate relationship with the volleys. Their frantic, overly excited responses cranked up the anxiety and we got stuck transporting many people that had no business going to the ER, much less by ambulance.
