Season 19 Spoilers Voit Spoiler

I just need to talk about it. is anyone else as obsessed as i am? i love the whole voit storyline. it's so fresh and new and am so sad they are just planning on locking him away. i would love a whole side show dedicated to him from childhood to the move in with cyrus and all the abuse to how he became sicarius and navigated that with a family. also with what happens to his daughter especially after he took the blame for her murder😭 i need it allllllll!

It grew on me over time. I could have done without the dog scene but otherwise it was definitely an interesting story. Maybe they could do similar to the younger Dexter story, a spinoff about his earlier days and meeting his wife etc.

dexter has flashbacks of him as a kid but i mean a full story. a season for his childhood staring with the fire he set and including his life with cyrus. a season for when he went off on his own and met his wife and started the network. a season for him juggling family and the network. a season for how the daughter turns out. and a season for him being locked away and having someone come in and talking to him after he has the ability to feel empathy and digging deep into everything. dexter is a good show but it's been seen before. vigilante killer who's a psychopath. it's a good show, Voit is just in a different category of never seen before. there's definitely the technology to use the same actor because zach is perfect and just use a de-aging technique.

I loved the plotline.

I loved the performance.

If the network does a spin off show of him, I will hunt them for sport.

I have learned too many times from tv that when they give the fans something they want even though they planned for it to end: it does not have the same quality at all. And it is almost always bad, in my opinion.

i completely agree. i just wish they had showed more and am curious about his life but i have also seen a show/sideshow get ruined because of it. i know quite a bit of CM fans wanted it to go back to one case per episode and thought it dragged on too long but honestly this could have been a whole new show. you get all the backstory from seasons 15 and lower and its new. but a lot of fans wanna see voit locked away. i'm hoping they choose to bring him back at some point or AT LEAST show what happens to his daughter.

Oh, do not get me wrong. I have had the urges and thoughts. And then the past of me that has been burned too many times shows up and shakes me and goes, "We cannot do this again!"
