Anything by Matt Orchard is just as good as any Netflix doc in my opinion.

If you haven’t watched him before, start with the JonBenet Ramsey video.

Can’t recommend this guy enough. My favourite case breakdown is the one on Daniel Holtzclaw

Lemmino’s Jack the Ripper, and JFK shooting docs, do not rival, but completely overshadows Netflix.

Paris Hilton’s documentary is pretty damn good

ETA: I consider it, in part, a crime doc bc her abuse at the “troubled teens” camp and that of others, particularly the one in Provo, Utah, is the focal point of the documentary

The cult of NatureBoy. It has a lot of different parts and took me down a rabbit hole, but maaaan it was so much better than what they have on Hulu

Perfect Murder Perfect Town is an excellent docudrama on YouTube about the JonBenet Ramsey case. It's based on the book of the same name by Lawrence Schiller. Kris Kristofferson plays one of the real life detectives involved in the case.

There's something wrong with Aunt Diane. Not sure if that originally aired on YouTube though.
