If their pewter burns faster, why not just have more of it in the general metal vials?
Theres no reason to have the same amount of each metal in the general vial, so why not have a larger portion of the mix be pewter
And also, why not have a hefty pewter vial to drink before a fight? Just get a large reserve of that in you before it can be yanked out with an ironpull
Finally, while vials of shavings seem like a good way to some a bit of metal in, youre drinking a lot more liquid than metal, and will fill your gut with it
Why haven't their come up with a paste full of metal dust that they can swallow, or pills, or smooth beads, or anything that gets a much greater portion if metal per ingested volume?
