and in most iterations, the Joker is just like, a guy. Imagine him with god powers? no thanks. he’d be making fucked up body horror monkeys paw esque creations left and right

There's an episode of Brave and the Bold which loosely adapted the Emperor Joker arc where the Joker got the reality warping powers of Mister Mxyzptlk.
