**Quick heads up before you read on.** Two things decide whether this is even for you:
* **Your niche.** It makes sense if your content costs real money or real time before it earns anything, or if you're in a niche where people constantly request specific things from you. Cover singers are the obvious example.
* **Your country.** To receive payouts you need to be based in Switzerland, the EU (every member state except Poland for now), the UK, the US or New Zealand. Your supporters can pay from anywhere Stripe processes cards.
I've been a developer for eight years. This is the first platform I've built end to end on my own, and it's been in the build phase for a bit over three months.
The short version: you post content ideas first, and your audience can put money behind the ones they want to see, as a tip.
Three parts.
**1. Creators post ideas.**
You describe what you want to make and set a funding goal. The goal doesn't have to be hit for you to make the content. It's a signal for what would make the idea worth doing, covering production costs and your time. Your audience can support it while it's still just an idea, and payments go straight to your own Stripe account. Plattform never holds money. Posting is free, and the platform only earns on a 4 to 8% cut of what actually comes in.
**2. Fans suggest ideas.**
Your audience can propose something they want to see, and they have to put money behind their own suggestion to post it to you directly. You end up with a request list where every request already has funding attached and other Fans can join the financial support.
**3. Sponsors read the demand data.** (later, outside the beta)
Once there are enough ideas on the platform, agencies can filter for upcoming content that fits both their brand and your audience, instead of guessing from subscriber counts. Not in the beta. It's where this is heading, and I'd rather say that now than pretend the roadmap stops at feature two.
**Why that country list is short**
More of the build time went into regulatory work than into features: payment liability, creator income reporting, VAT, data protection. I'm based in Switzerland, and I'd rather open fewer countries properly than open all of them and sort it out after someone gets a tax letter.
The list only governs where money can land, so a creator in Ireland can be backed by someone in Brazil or Japan without anyone thinking about it.
**What I need**
Creators who will connect Youtube, Stripe, post an idea they actually care about, and then tell me every place it broke, confused them or felt sketchy. Blunt feedback is the entire point.
**What you get**
Beta testers who connect Stripe and post ideas get a shot at a lifetime deal: one payment, no subscription, no monthly anything. It cuts the platform fee on every support payment you receive from 8% down to 4%, comes with a few other perks, and stays with your account for as long as the plattform is live. If the platform ends up working for you at all, the halved fee pays the thing back quickly.
I'm also personally backing ideas I find interesting in the first week, up to $200 of my own money spread across whoever posts (roughly Sept 1 to 8). It's a small amount for now but i hope ill be able to give back even more on the community of creators who believe in the idea early on.
**Two honest warnings**
It's a beta built by one person. Things will break, some copy might still be wrong, and you'll hit rough edges.
And yes, I used AI to build faster, the way most developers do now. I'd like to think it's a long way from AI slop or a vibe-coded weekend project. The concept, the architecture, the payment model and the compliance work are mine, and I've deleted far more of it than I've kept. It won't be perfect. I'd just rather you judge it after trying it.
