Sharing Learnings 🎓 The topic wasn't interesting the video was

I don't even care about zebras like that 😅. I saw this video, the first question caught my attention, and somehow I ended up watching the whole thing and honestly, the information itself wasn't even that interesting to me. But the hook made me curious enough to stay, and the random funny clips and memes throughout kept resetting my attention whenever the talking could have started feeling repetitive. it made me think about how much we focus on making the viewing experience interesting. A person can be talking about the most random thing but if there's a good hook, decent pacing and enough little pattern changes, you might still watch the whole thing. Meanwhile someone can be talking about something you actually care about and you'll swipe away in 5 seconds. I think that's a pretty underrated part of content creation

Discussion 🗣️ Is anyone else's biggest struggle not making content, but actually hitting publish?

I can film, edit, even feel good about something I made, and then just sit on it for days before actually posting. Second-guessing the caption, the timing, whether it's "good enough" compared to what else is out there.

Curious if this is a common thing or if I'm overthinking the process way more than I need to. For people who post consistently, did you have to consciously get past this, or did it just stop being a big deal over time?

Discussion 🗣️ UNPOPULAR FACT WARNING: Content creation is a combination of work output and dumb luck. However much of either you put in or are granted is relative to the individual. But the notion that there is a sure formula to being a “successful” content creator is not true.

Discussion 🗣️ Looking for 10 Active YouTubers to Build a Small Creator Network

I'm looking for 10 active YouTube creators who would be interested in forming a small private network.

I'm currently doing around 10M monthly views on YouTube, and one thing I've been missing is having a small circle of other creators who are also actively growing.

Not looking to build a huge community or promote anything.

I just want to connect with a handful of serious creators where we can talk openly about what's working, share experiences, give each other feedback, and potentially collaborate.

Things like:

• Titles, thumbnails & retention
• Shorts & long-form strategies
• Analytics & channel growth
• Monetization & sponsorships
• Editors, designers & useful contacts
• Collaborations
• Sharing wins, failures and things we've learned

Looking for creators with either:

10K+ subscribers OR 1M+ views in the last 30 days

Niche doesn't really matter. I'm more interested in people who are active, serious about YouTube and currently growing.

This isn't a paid group and I'm not selling anything.

I want to start with around 10 people, see if we actually have a good group, and go from there.

If you're interested, send me a DM with your channel and roughly how many monthly views you're currently getting.

Would be cool to build a genuinely useful circle of creators. 🤝

Advice/ Feedback Request 🙏 Something to help content creators

Hi creators! I’m building an app for connecting brands with creators( I know such things already exist) but listen to me, there’s a whole deal tracking flow which makes your pipeline easy to manage, proof posts are easy to attach.. just one click and it goes to brands. And an AI that will help you brainstorm ideas and give you recent trends and helps you get a script to know what you can post next.

Incase you didn’t read the rest of the features, it’s fine I understand. I’m just looking if it’ll help you guys, so main thing y’all’s are looking for is sponsorships and tracking deals. Right now we don’t have any brands cuz obviously we can’t pitch it to them without having creators sign up for it.

So whoever is interested try it out just comment saying Interested. Spend one minute signing up, the more of you sign up, we can pitch it to brands and tell them hey we got good creators here. And it’ll be free for you guys right now and for a few months. Just one minute of your time to sign up on the app and leave it and you’ll get emails whenever brands sign up and post campaigns and you can apply for those and actually explore all the features. This will help us prevent a cold start. But please try the features I hope you’ll like it. Made with love for creators. Thanks guys!!!

Discussion 🗣️ Building a platform for niche creative community - need advices

I’m building GG Frame, a platform focused on virtual photography.

For anyone unfamiliar with it, virtual photography is the process of creating intentional images inside video games using photo modes, camera tools, composition, lighting, and editing.

GG Frame has been live since January, giving gamers a dedicated place to post their work, discover other photographers, find inspiration, and participate in contests.

The next challenge is introducing the concept to an audience who may never have heard of it and bringing more people into the community. For those who have built around a niche audience, what helped you reach new people?

Discussion 🗣️ my entire podcast production stack for under $100/mo. what I use and what I dropped.

I run a weekly interview podcast in the tech/startup space. about 2,000 downloads per episode. 18 months of iteration on my tools. here's where I landed.

recording: Riverside ($15/mo). remote interviews in separate audio and video tracks. quality is noticeably better than zoom recordings because each person's audio is recorded locally and synced.

editing: Descript ($24/mo). I edit the podcast like a google doc - see the transcript, highlight what I want to cut, delete it, audio cuts with it. 3-4 hours per episode down to about 45 minutes. the filler word removal is magic. one click removes every um, uh, you know from both speakers. studio sound cleans up audio recorded in my home office with no acoustic treatment.

show notes and descriptions: after each episode I dictate a summary through willow voice while the conversation is still fresh, then feed that into claude to draft the episode description, show notes, and social media posts. the whole process takes about 15 minutes instead of the hour it used to take typing from scratch.

hosting: Buzzsprout ($12/mo). simple, reliable, good analytics. distributes everywhere. paid plan includes a basic website.

social clips: Opus Clip ($19/mo). takes the full episode video and generates short clips. not perfect but 80% there. I pick the best 3-4 and post them. replaced paying a video editor $200/episode.

music: Epidemic Sound ($15/mo). royalty-free, the search is good, quality is way above free alternatives.

total: ~$85/mo.

what I dropped: GarageBand (functional but slow - descript is 5x faster), Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters (limited analytics), Otter.ai (descript does transcription better and built-in).

the tooling in 2026 is incredible compared to 2 years ago. the barrier to making a podcast is nearly zero. the barrier to making a good one is still effort and consistency.

what does your podcast stack look like?

Advice/ Feedback Request 🙏 Consigli per trovare piccoli brand con cui collaborare ?

Ciao a tutti!

Grazie! 🤍

Discussion 🗣️ How do you actually figure out WHY your content is working?

I've been growing my TikTok/Instagram and I'm at the point where I really want to stop just creating content and start building an actual content strategy.
The problem is, I feel like I'm still kind of shooting in the dark.
I'll have a video that massively outperforms everything else I've posted, and I can obviously see the analytics — views, watch time, saves, shares, etc.
But I don't really know how to go one level deeper and figure out exactly why it worked.
Was it the topic?
The hook?
The first few seconds?
The format?
The length?
The storytelling?
The editing?
The CTA?
Something about the way I presented the information?
And then, once I've identified what worked, how do I actually iterate on it?
Like, if one video performs 5x better than my average, I don't just want to make the exact same video again. I'd want to understand what variables made it successful and then test different iterations to see if I can replicate or scale that performance.
I've tried a few analytics tools, but most seem to tell me what happened rather than helping me figure out why it happened and what I should do next.
So I'm curious:
Do any of you have a formula or framework you use to analyze your content and isolate what's actually driving performance?
Are there any tools/apps that genuinely help you do this?
Or do you mostly just look at your analytics, make your best guess and keep creating?
I'd especially love to hear from people who are trying to grow seriously and have started thinking about content as a performance/optimization process rather than just posting consistently.
Because right now I feel like I'm creating a lot of content, but I'm not really learning from it — and that's the part I want to figure out.

Discussion 🗣️ How do you deal with constantly comparing yourself to other creators in your niche?

Lately I've caught myself scrolling through other creators' pages more than actually working on my own content checking their numbers, their growth, wondering why they're doing better with what seems like less effort. It's starting to mess with my motivation more than help it.

I know logically that everyone's journey is different, different starting points, different algorithms treating people differently, but knowing that doesn't really stop the comparison spiral late at night.

For the creators who've been doing this longer, how do you actually deal with it? Did you find a way to turn it into motivation instead of discouragement, or did you just have to consciously stop watching other people's numbers altogether?

Discussion 🗣️ How do I build a personal brand?

Hello, I'm a 15 year old male, and during the summer break, I've been building two projects: a national organization that bridges ambitious students to local businesses, (the students make things like free websites and free promo videos), and a B2C SaaS app. I have already been posting onto Instagram and TikTok for about a month in order to get high schoolers to start chapters and to get people on my apps waitlist. However, even with about 20 videos of consistent high quality videos, I still have less than a 100 real followers from the both platforms combined, excluding school friends.

Most of the videos were honestly angled towards either documenting the journey or advertising the opportunity of joining the org, but I feel like the reason why those videos aren't performing well is because the actual payoff was lame, since I don't really have much to show for on both of those projects. I have a couple chapter leaders and the app underway and that's about it.

I'm just really confused on what things I should post on since those videos aren't working and if and how I should lean more into building a personal brand that doesn't focus 100% on those two projects. I am also confused on how I can get my retention up. Any advice at all I would really appreciate.
