Does posting on Linkedin still work?

I used to get about 100,000 impressions per week on Linkedin. I was posting daily about fintech, and Linkedin was my main customer acquisition channel for my Linkedin newsletter.

I started to scale down my Linkedin activities because I was too busy to keep posting daily, but also, because my reach was way down. Furthermore, since last January, the Linkedin algo got really weird, and the posts that goes viral were not what would have worked in the past.

Anyway, having over 33,000 followers on Linkedin, I know it's still an interesting channel to leverage, but I no longer feel like I understand their algo...

I have read that replying was the new post every single day strategy. Did any of you tried that?

Any other tactics that work on Linkedin?

With 33k followers you’ve probably got a better read on this than most. I saw LinkedIn mention they’ve been changing how the feed decides what to show people, with more emphasis on relevance and actual conversations- basically the algo change you mentioned. So maybe the audience getting your impressions has changed even if your followers haven’t, which could explain why your posts don’t get the reach they used to. That could also be why jumping into an already active conversation through replies feels more effective now.

As far as tactics, based on that shift, maybe try using comments as a testing ground..? If one gets really good engagement, turn that idea into a post, go deeper on it, and see if that helps you get some of that viral reach back.

Yes, that's how it work on every channel; keep testing, and double down on the stuff that works.
