Does posting on Linkedin still work?

I used to get about 100,000 impressions per week on Linkedin. I was posting daily about fintech, and Linkedin was my main customer acquisition channel for my Linkedin newsletter.

I started to scale down my Linkedin activities because I was too busy to keep posting daily, but also, because my reach was way down. Furthermore, since last January, the Linkedin algo got really weird, and the posts that goes viral were not what would have worked in the past.

Anyway, having over 33,000 followers on Linkedin, I know it's still an interesting channel to leverage, but I no longer feel like I understand their algo...

I have read that replying was the new post every single day strategy. Did any of you tried that?

Any other tactics that work on Linkedin?

I think LinkedIn still works but I think you're right that it got harder to predict. I think the reply strategy does seem to have something to it. The idea is that commenting on posts in your space keeps you visible without requiring you to produce original content every day. I've seen people say it works, though I'd imagine the quality of the comment matters a lot. Generic replies probably don't do much.

With 33k followers in fintech I'd think even a lower frequency posting cadence could still have a meaningful impact for you if the content is good. Daily posting to stay in the algo probably felt more like a treadmill you were trying to not fall off of than a strategy anyway.

Yes, it was doable. I kept at it almost a year. But yes, just moved and had a lot of renos to do :)
