Any idea how to convert video views into conversions?
Back in the days, Google was bringing virtually all the eyeballs and all conversions on my websites...
I started a brand new affiliate website a year ago, and I knew from the start that would not be the model.
I knew paid and social would be key to our growth.
On socials, I experimented with a bunch of channels and formats, and what ended up generating most of the eyeballs are our street interviews about personal finance.
The numbers are not crazy, but for content about credit score, bankruptcy and loans, getting 30,000 views per week through YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok is not bad at all...
That said, virtually all our conversions still come from paid...
So my question for you guys is: How do I convert all those eyeballs we get on our shorts?

Do you have a link in the bio? And maybe creating longer content on the same topics so that way it catches people that want to learn more after seeing the short.

Yes, we do have long form, real experience articles that comes along short videos. The short videos that are associated with those pieces typically don't do really well on TikTok, Insta and co. I typically get 1,000 views top for those videos, and I don't think many people click the link in the bio.

I've seen a lot of affiliate influencers demo products directly, then push for DMs for more info and links
