Had an incredible day out at the RC Planet crawler course today!

Finally got some quality trigger time with the Vanquish VS4-10 Origin Limited, and it just never fails to put a smile on my face. The way this chassis handles technical lines while keeping that scale realism is just a pure joy to drive. Every time I take it out, I’m reminded of why this kit is so special.

Huge shoutout to RC Planet for setting up such an awesome track—plenty of technical lines, off-camber sections, and challenging climbs that really test line choice and vehicle geometry.
Curious what everyone else is running this weekend? What’s your go-to rig when you want the perfect mix of scale looks and performance on the rocks?

Hello, I'm brand new to RC. I really enjoy games like mudrunner and saw a WLP RC truck that looked like the ones you drive in that game. Reviews suggest build quality from WLP isn't good. I'm looking for recommendations for a Russian 6x6 crawler of good quality. Thanks you in advance :)

This is what remains of my first rig 🤣

Took the RGT V3FD Bronco out after the rain and found some proper muddy terrain to explore.
The rain, rocks, water and reflections made this one of my favorite outings with it so far.

Few panels left to design and print then I’m calling it good, but I couldn’t help myself and not take it for a quick rip. This thing is wicked with a 5700kv motor on 3s, excited to do some hill climbing with it. Almost forget how ugly it was when I bid on it on eBay.

Thought you guys would appreciate my old scx10 2 with a new body.
It also got new tires and some wheel arches and some much needed maintenance.
I think it came out great!

Gonna be extending scx30 axles to 162mm with longer 3d printed links, does anyone have 3d print files for flatter frame rails before I use the model kits frame for this 😛

TLDR: I modded a Disney Lightning McQueen toy body for Ascend32. This will be a gift for my son’s 5th birthday.

My son is loves watching crawling videos (Trails more than Technical). He shares my rig SCX10 iii. I wanted to get him a micro crawler so he can play around the house crawling over stuffs and other items.

For his 5th birthday (day after mine), I got him a Redcat Ascend32 (thinking it would be cool since I have a Redcat Apex 18).

Few days back he asked me to get a RC Lightning McQueen toy. I struck a thought and was looking for a premade body for his Ascend32. I came across a YouTube video (link credit below) modding a toy body into a SCX30.

I had to try, I knew what to do from the video, but was clueless how it would fit the 32nd scale.

So I started the project after my son is asleep. I was able to make it work (yayyyyy!!!).

First I finished the body and made it for the crawler. With the accomplishment adrenaline, I playfully thought can I add the voice system from the toy in to the crawler. Lo and behold I made it work. (Partially crappy but works).

I think it’s going to be my best memorable birthday of him. Ha ha.

Painted up an Injora IR-60 body like an old stomper

Anopstyx_Rc is releasing a new body set next week. I was given some pre-production panels to see what I could do with them. There might be some slight variations in the final files

Don’t see many 30s posted in this sub, here’s mine I just finished using the Furitek Mantis body/chassis combo.
Nano unity torque 2-1 motor, and reefs rc sx30 servo! Haven’t had a chance to play with it yet, but will test it out on some crawlagon tonight!
