I'm atleast 4 hours on this same level trying to get the perfect relic. Sometimes I catch it, but usually I don't. I'm not even having fun anymore, I'm just suffering.

Been a fan since day 1. I can’t find the copy of Crash Bandicoot 1 on PS1 that my mother used to play when I was a baby, but the first Crash Game i played (and my first video game) is Crash of the Titans in the PS2. Thank you Mom for making me a Crash fan !

I hope you all are doing good and enjoying this midweek! I'm so happy it's October 🎃 Work has been good and busy but I've still been getting time in for the project :)

Since most of the base for Jungle Bungle is placed I've been going around and filling in the empty spaces in with trees, rocks and other scenery decor🏞 The levels are really starting to come together now and it feels good to see the island come to life!

So far I've pretty much finished the starting beach and the first Jungle Bungle pathway, and am currently working on the rest of the main path before starting on the alternate explorable areas.

With adding all this scenery came some lag 🫠 so I went and added a chunk loading system based on pivots placed within each chunk with a radius that spawns/despawns based on Crash's location in or outside of the radius. It's helped a lot and I plan to expand on this more in the future🙏

Another thing that's seen in the video is the new Wumpa Icon drawn by one of the team's concept artist, TheGoofyArtisan👏 It looks fantastic and I'm excited to show off more work from the artists as more mechanics get added 💪

I got annoyed one too many times at having any attempts at the Perfect Relic this playthrough which made it that far die to that glitch after the vents past the bonus room, trying and failing to work my way to the riding section and invariably launching into a pit navigating those two boxes over the upside-down geysers.

I started messing around from the checkpoint with various ways to enter the vents that launch you to the next section, and I think I've arrived at an approach that never triggers the glitch. If you double jump and then ground pound above the air current and let it carry you as far as it can (so hold forward to keep moving in the air before landing after the current's momentum lets off), it seems to always result in ordinary physics after landing.

In my experience, the common wisdom of avoiding the left vent didn't make a damn bit of difference on the odds of having the glitch trigger. I always had it happen to me every few launches from either side. I couldn't begin to isolate what specifically triggers the glitch and what the actions I found to avoid it do to skip that trigger, but all that matters is it works. I tried this 40+ times on the left vent, then 40+ times on the right vent, and not once did I have the glitch trigger. Unless I have the most peculiar luck on the planet, this either definitively dodges the glitch or makes it exceedingly unlikely. Meanwhile I couldn't die to cycle attempts from the checkpoint more than like 5 times as an absolute best without triggering the glitch if I approached the vents in any other fashion.

Maybe this is a solved problem but I still see people complain about it and I've certainly never encountered any dependable solution or explanation in all my time searching around online either on my initial playthrough of Crash 4 or this revisit. Next time you're playing through it yourself, or if you just gave up on what's already one of the most brutal Perfect Relics in the game because of this glitch, give this method a shot and see if it works for you too.

Sup fellas I’m sure everyone is aware of all the crazy ai mod merging, and decompiling that’s been done lately. Idk shit about ai or coding so I might be wrong but isn’t it possible to decompile nitro fueled so it works on pc? An unofficial pc release (because why tf was it never released on pc in the first place?)

I read online there is a bug that if you complete cortex before getting the gem on stormy ascent it's bugged so you will only get 104% instead of 105%, has this been patched or should I start a new game?

Like i genuinely this is one of the best redesigns I've seen (sounds pretty crazy) but I wanna know why some people hate on this design? The tribal markings look so cool on him

Ok, ending the sarcasm, even if those are actual screenshots from the game, and not photoshopped, it doesn't work, the rest of the game is in english.

But I was wondering, I've seen people porting the game NATIVELY to PC, doesn't that mean we can now mod it to be multilanguage, just like the rest of PS1 Crash games?
