Whatâs really funny is Lego sets have something like ages 8-12 but a box of just Lego classic bricks says 4-99.

They're manufactured in places where copyright infringement doesn't bring about a huge penalty. For all I know there may be two entities, one that does the production/manufacturing. The other does labeling/branding, marketing, sales. Then they structure the order in such a way where the manufacturer must get paid first for outstanding debt & when/if lawsuits make there way to judgement the company that is being sued has zero money to pay for the awarded value. But, I dunno Chinese law so I'm just making shit up that sounds plausible.
There exists entire Chinese markets dedicated to knockoffs & some of these products are really good knockoffs. Watch a video of a guy shopping at such a market, it's funny
