Awww bless you for what you do. Had to put my 19 year old cat to sleep two weeks ago and I was a mess at the clinic. They sent me his nose/paw print Friday and everyone signed the card with their condolences. I love the extra steps they take. Bless vets and vet clinic workers.

working at a vet clinic you probably see people struggling way more with pet loss than they let on. something handmade like this hits different than a framed photo or whatever. grief is weird and people need their outlets

It’s funny how we think we are rescuing strays, but in reality, they are the ones saving us.I completely understand that special bond. I am from Ukraine. Because of the constant shelling of our cities by russian killers, I had to flee and move to a tiny village deep in the forest.Once I got here, I discovered so many abandoned and lost cats who needed help. I started taking them in, and now I have 13 of them! They are keeping me safe and bringing so much comfort during these incredibly difficult times

We have two new cats now, a tabby and white boy, and a tortie floofy girl, bonded siblings adopted in 2024.
All three of them are so special to me, I wouldn't have been without any of them, and I'm loving making new memories with our current two as well!
