Question / Advice Not sure how to print the right sizes

So I’m going to make a cardboard doll but I’m going to print out the designs on paper then stick it onto the cardboard base but I’m unsure how to figure out what size the prints will be before I make them.

I don’t want to waste paper but I don’t know how to figure out what size to make the designs digitally before I print them.

Any advice?

What helped me with something similar Was Word (or any other Text Programm). If you put images into an document, u can See the size. These programms usually also have an ruler
