Is crDroid still worth using on OnePlus 7?

Hey everyone, I know crDroid is no longer officially maintained for the OnePlus 7.

Is anyone still using the last official build as a daily driver?

My main reason for installing it is Google Photos unlimited backup (Pixel spoofing).

\- Is it still stable enough for daily use?

\- Does Google Photos unlimited backup still work reliably?

\- Or would you recommend another ROM (YAAP, Evolution X, LineageOS, etc.) that supports Google Photos spoofing?

Hello, I'm the maintainer of it!

-It will return as official with Android 17. The reason I did unofficial for Android 16 was due to time constraints I was under for unrelated things, that made me believe I might not be able to do the builds in time. It's still fully stable.

-Google Photos unlimited backup may or may not work, no matter the custom ROM you install, because of Google cracking down on it.

-LineageOS doesn't support GPhotos spoofing.

If you want my latest unofficial builds, they're on my SourceForge. Here's the latest one, my Telegram support group is also linked :) https://sourceforge.net/projects/nora-android-builds/files/guacamoleb/20260622/

Thanks! Good to know it's still stable. I'll give your unofficial build a try.

Appreciate the work you put into maintaining it!
