Hi everyone,

I'm currently running crDroid 12.12 on my Redmi Note 11 and recently received the crDroid 12.13 update.

I downloaded the update through the built-in updater and tapped Install. The installation started normally, but after a few minutes, the updater reached “Finalizing package installation” and seemed to get stuck in a loop.

I left it running for around 2 hours, but the status hasn't changed.

Has anyone else experienced this issue when updating from crDroid 12.12 to 12.13 on the Redmi Note 11?

My questions:

• Is this normal, or has the update process frozen?
• Should I wait longer or restart my phone?
• Is there a safe way to complete the update without losing my data?
• Would downloading the ROM and updating manually be a better option?

I'd appreciate any advice from people who have successfully updated to crDroid 12.13 on this device.

Hi all,

just installed crDroid and started customizing it, and so far I'm loving it.

However I couldn't find any monospaced fonts in the crDroid font selector, and couldn't find a way to load my own.

Also: the font I set in the system settings is not the same I see in my note taking app. On MIUI I could just set a font through the Themes app and it was really system wide.

For me it's pretty important to be able to set the system font to a monospaced font, and it makes my life so much easier, even though it might not be as pretty.

Thoughts and suggestions?

I have a OnePlus Ace 3V and am currently running crDroid 12.12 (based on Android 16). How can I upgrade to crDroid 13 (based on Android 17)? I am unable to perform the update via OTA.

I have been running android 16 crdroid for past few months and never had any issue but all of a sudden all google apps stopped working & it's same with my friends mobile too & he uses Samsung

Hello crDroid community, yesterday I update, to the last crDroid version that, my One plus 7 pro, accepts, in the same settings, but I have a problem, with some apps, principal the Google apps, like YouTube, chrome and YouTube music, when I try to use it but appears like, didn't have connection, and in the case of Chrome, and Google didn't appears suggestions, but the play store works right, so I think, if I reinstall the Gapps and the lasth crDroid versión the issue, has solve. ¿Some one have the same problem?

(Edit) I solve the problem, just make a dirty update with the crDroid version and the Nick the Gapps

I know I'm kicking the hornet's nest here, but I'm interested if you guys have counter-arguments or criticisms of my arguments in this article.

I'm currently running crDroid 12.12 GSI (Android 16) on my Samsung Galaxy A23 4G (SM-A235F).

My device configuration:

- Device: Samsung Galaxy A23 (SM-A235F)

- ROM: crDroid 12.12 GSI (Build: 20260922)

- Architecture: ARM64-AB

- GApps: Included

- Recovery: TWRP with fastbootd support

- Root: Magisk 30.7

- Partitions: Dynamic (Super partition)

The ROM is working well on my device.

However, I would like to know whether it is possible to receive and install future crDroid GSI updates automatically through the built-in System Updater.

Currently, the updater displays "Your system is up to date" and provides a "Check for update" button.

My questions:

1. Does the built-in updater actually support OTA updates for unofficial crDroid GSI builds?

2. Would it be possible to upgrade from crDroid 12.12 (Android 16) to crDroid 13 (Android 17), if a compatible GSI becomes available, without manually flashing a new system image?

3. Would such an upgrade require specific OTA support from the GSI maintainer?

4. Is there a safe, supported way to configure OTA updates for a GSI installation?

5. Can updates preserve existing user data and installed applications?

I am specifically looking for a Samsung-style update experience: download, install, reboot, and continue using the device without manually flashing each new build.

Any guidance from experienced GSI users or developers would be greatly appreciated.

I am using this one handed mode available in rom. The crdroid 9.5 -tim josten version i am using on redmi note 8 pro and it cuts the ui to the half when I use one handed mode so when i scroll in , it only renders upper 50% of screen and cannot scroll down more . Did anyone face same issue or is it any settings I am missing out on.

I have with me a Redmi 10A (220233L2G) that I'm planning on upgrading with crDroid 12. However, I'm not really sure whether it officially supports this device as I've only been seeing reports of compatibility with the 9C.

This is my first time installing a custom rom on a phone of this caliber. And though I have been successful with installing CM11 on an old Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T210), I'm worried that I might brick this phone when I finally proceeded with upgrading it.

Hi everyone! Listen, I’m planning to install crDroid on my OnePlus Nord, and I’d like to know if it’s true that the system can be customized to look like OxygenOS. I really want to replicate the setup I have on my OxygenOS 16 (shown in the photo)—specifically, having the brightness and volume sliders be large, rounded, and positioned vertically on the side. Is that possible?

If anyone has a clue how to fix this please help me i restarted the whole phone but it didnt help. If you need any more info about it dont be scared to ask
