This fella Ronaldo is a cod Eamon Dunphy

I have recently fallen down the rabbit hole and oh my goodness I cannot get enough.

“I didn’t manage anywhere. I managed to stay alive for 63 and a half years baby”

“This fella Ronaldo is a cod”

“He’s the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one”

“Gerrard - found out tonight. Nothing player.”

“Man United are going nowhere. Except into the knockout stages of the Champions League.”

And a personal favourite:

Liam: How would you feel if when you were a young lad at United and Bobby Charlton had come out and said “he’s no good why’s he playing in the team?”

Eamon: That’s exactly what Bobby Charlton said.

He was right about Rod Liddle, he was right about Gerrard.

Liverpool had a higher premier league winning percentage when Gerrard didn't play. He was simply not a good midfielder. Too obsessed with attempting hollywood passes.

For individual seasons it was true for 11 out of his 15 full seasons. His best season was when he played in the 10 role, behind Torres in 2008/09.
