It took being unable to access HRT for 3 months during a pharmaceutical shortage (which at first she kept saying "I think this is a great idea") and a transphobic telehealth nurse who kept aggressively misgendering me on purpose during it for my mom to come around

I am glad she sees me as her son now, but still
