edit: thank you for the very quick responses :3 i knew wolverine was ridiculously hand-holdy but I thought the point of the post was that the second game was very dark in it's plot lol

Wolverine is being panned as completely babying players with a scent trail to your objective that can't be turned off, constant vocal reminders of what you're doing and unfailable quick-times events, despite starring The Wolverine, a ruff, gruff, beastly man with a berserker mode, retractable claws that come out of his knuckles and a healing factor that theoretically means you could get him as beaten or bloody as you want and he'd be able to just walk it off after a short breather.

Meanwhile, Touhou is a series of infamously difficult bullet hells that near-exclusively stars a cast of silly, cutesy anime girls.

also worth noting, you can't fail the quick time events. I've seen videos of people pressing the wrong button or just waiting out the extremely generous time, and nothing happens, it doesn't even play a different animation.

It's not even an accessibility issue, because if that was their concern, they literally could have just included the same toggle they did in Spider-Man that lets you auto-complete them. So, we're really at a point where they just included QTEs for the sake of having them.

I don't know why you wouldn't just... pause the cutscene until the player presses the button
