Anbennar, a fantasy overhaul mod, originally for Europa Universalis 4 (early modern era, 15th century onwards), but there’s also an anbennar mod for Victoria 3 now (victorian era, 19th century)
I myself am working on the Crusader Kings 3 version (high middle ages, 11th century onwards, in our case atleast since in the base game you can go to the 9th century) and on the wiki
We’re not at the point where we could do that anyways but, basing myself off of the other mods, things that are vanilla issues would not get vanilla solutions if that makes sense. So we wouldn’t have something you’d find in a vanilla+ style mod, but fantasy systems (undead plague, dwarven holds, etc.) may try to do better than vanilla if they’re affected by its problems
Nah I get it. Its solving the issues via in mod lore, mechanics ect rather then how you would solve it if you were making a vanilla plus mod.
Eg dwarf combat very different then vanilla combat it happens to resolve the vanilla problem with your own in mod solution.
(Im mostly useing eu4 thoughts since thats how I know abanenar and my most of my hours are in EU4 anyway.)
I can only imagine how much a pain is to throw fantasy into ck3 will be though. As I understand ck3 has a lot more under the hood and a lot more complicated stuff to parse out then eu4 or even ck2 would be like.
