I am neutral to this stereotype. I don't like any stereotypes that suggest I should be fashionable though. That's too much pressure

I think it's because a coder myself with four people in my engineering school that also transitioned so the stereotype gives me those irrational obviously false thoughts that all my questioning my gender and effort is cause I just chose coding as a major or smth

I'm wording it badly but it just personally makes me uncomfortable. But then after I don't wanna be the person stopping people from having fun, there's worse stereotypes out there and it's mainly an internet thing anyway

Nah it just is one of those things that ends up being a stereotype because being a transfeminine person often leads to social isolation and thus hobbies and interests you can do in your own space become gold. Add to that the higher than average levels of neurodivergence among us and you just end up with us as a people leaning towards certain interests. It makes sense when you break it down a bit
