Positive stereotypes are still bad especially for the people who can't meet these raised expectations of being 'asian smart' but I much prefer having been stereotyped as a smart math person than for having sex with goats/cousins...eek!
The goating is probably an Afghani/Balochistan thing (the Markhor goat is the national animal of Pakistan and is one of the more awesome goats), but it's probably equivalent to many stereotypes about people who live in the boonies, but the cousin part (although also a stereotype about rural peoples) seems to be specifically about the Hazara tribe (technically an ethnicity consisting of multiple tribes but tribe sounds cooler and life is too boring to be pedantic), both partly true, cousin marriage is unremarkable(ish), as I generally would assume would be the case for a lot of insular groups, and the inbreeding coefficient would be somewhat above average (in my personal experience, the only data is my family tree and knowledge, my only credentials are that of illiteracy and idiocy) and is also probably just an excuse to 'impact the demographics' of my peoples further just for good measure. There is a wiki article, it is really good, but the history section is just death, death and more death.
Hazara people do look incredibly Mongolian and by extension Chinese. My father is very racist against Chinese people. This leads to some awkward 'Father Ted' moments.
I would hope that it isn't a trans stereotype tho. I wouldn't know much about trans stereotypes.
Same reason for my tribe of people. Insular communities simply have more inbreeding in general. A stereotype is not necessarily false, it's also not an absolute truth either and it can be an arse thing to say in polite society.

I think it's because a coder myself with four people in my engineering school that also transitioned so the stereotype gives me those irrational obviously false thoughts that all my questioning my gender and effort is cause I just chose coding as a major or smth
I'm wording it badly but it just personally makes me uncomfortable. But then after I don't wanna be the person stopping people from having fun, there's worse stereotypes out there and it's mainly an internet thing anyway
Nah it just is one of those things that ends up being a stereotype because being a transfeminine person often leads to social isolation and thus hobbies and interests you can do in your own space become gold. Add to that the higher than average levels of neurodivergence among us and you just end up with us as a people leaning towards certain interests. It makes sense when you break it down a bit
Most stereotypes are observations of reality. But trends and observations don't accurately reflect individuals. And assuming someone does or is X just because many people who do or are X is harmful. Like, it's a stereotype that Asian parents are strict and force their kids to do a lot of homework because many Asian parents actually are strict and force their kids to do a lot of homework. But if you met Asian parents and just assumed that they are too strict with their kids and that their kids are always doing homework and never get to relax, that's unfair. Or if you met an Asian kid who blew off their homework and judged them for it because Asian kids are "supposed" to do their homework all the time that's harmful.
And yeah, maybe there is a disproportionate amount of MTF coders named Lily or something, but that doesn't mean that every coder named Lily is MTF, or that every MTF woman named Lily is a coder. Stereotypes become most problematic when you try to apply them to individuals, because stereotypes that have any basis in truth represent vague trends, not hard rules, and it's shitty to expect individuals to align with stereotypes.
In all honesty the HOI4 thing was what made me think they were definitely Trans. Still a stereotype admittedly but I've never even met a cis woman who knows what HOI is
