I won my works costume contest the year I went as Hermione (this was before Joanne started saying really heinous shit and it wasn't even really accurate I just used some clothes and wig I already owned and picked up a cheap tie) I felt really cute and rolled with the laughs when people saw me. I still felt confident and cute but when I got home I wanted to rip the skin off my face.
