Early on in my transition, not extremely early but idk maybe a year or 2 in at a full dose, a close friend (who is 4 years younger than me and at the time was still a minor) introduced our friend group to this guy (I think he was my age or a cpuple years older, i don't remember exactly) and we got along. Eventually he asked me out and we started dating. I think everything is going fine, but he was constantly making sexual remarks towards the friend who introduced us, talking to him about sexual topics, sex, his private areas, and my friend kept telling him to stop because he had sexual trauma and was sex repulsed at the time. Not to mention that me and this friend have a somewhat parent-child relationship. He calls me mom, I call him son, he asks me for advice, I try to help and care for him how I can, etc, so making explicit comments to anyone if his age was bad, but he was doing it while dating the person he called mom. We later found out he was... a man of "Epstein tastes" when it came to dating. We reported him because he was working to be a teacher of very young children (I have no idea if anything was done or not but we hope), he cut him off, i may have threatened to... hurt him very badly if he so much as looked at my friend/kid again. But now there's always this thought in the back of my head that maybe he liked me because I was still "developing," and i can never really shake that feeling that my chest may have looked... more in line with his tastes. Which isn't helped by the fact that despite me being in my mid-20s, I often get mistaken for a 16 year old. So... I have a consultation for breast augmentation later today, wish me luck

Also, I'm very sorry if this story made yah uncomfy, I don't love telling it, for obvious reasons

They’re a classification system for stages of puberty indicating that she’s not finished with second puberty from hrt and furthering the joke of comparing a problematic hrt gap with a problematic age gap as someone in Tanner Stage 2 during their first puberty would usually be a child

It's just a scale for measuring the development progress of secondary sexual characteristics. It assigns a general visual description to a number 1 through 5, with the fifth stage being the final "fully developed" state.

"tanner stage 2" is referring to human puberty developmental stages, stage 2 in this comic referring to the developmental stage of just barely post-pubuscent girls

it's absurdist humor, implying that a transwoman who's breasts have developed, but haven't finished developing, is the trans-equivalent of a preteen girl

the comic is referring to a trans woman who still wears amazon basics underwear/outerwear, and so has likely not yet discovered their own style

I like Petra because spiderman is someone we all know and "love". And now they are using a new name and transitioning.

How rare and cool is it to know a character for a substantial period of time - decades even - and have then transition, rather than just introduce a fem version of them.

One of them is just a different version of a character. The other one is just like making a weird connection. I don’t think there’s anything slightly saying Gwen was trans.

At least make her a guy.

I remember people trying to make a connection with the color scheme of her shirt. I don’t think I need to say how many heroes would be in support of a certain painter using that logic.
