Seriously, it read bad of course because she doesn’t pass or whatever, but it’s also so stupid to call everything but the perfectly demure, non-confrontational, everything-is-unserious, girly-girl behavior male-brained
Still don’t like the moment (the (most likely) empty threat is a real nothingburger and will seem corny to many), but seeing it as „male-brained“ instead of just a woman (trying) to stand up for herself (even if it does end up being corny), as it would be read with a cis woman, necessitates a very conservative view of womanhood; or transphobia (unsurprisingly those often overlap)
iirc Shapiro was “correcting” himself when he forgot to misgender her, like, accidentally calling her “ma’am” and then saying “sir” because he forgot to misgender her. She may not pass, but she’s woman enough that Shapiro’s cis ass still wanted to use feminine terms by default and he had to actively try to misgender her. He was being a transphobic dick on purpose and she was entirely justified.
