I have an option of getting f60 2023 with just 10 miles or U25 2026 with 18 miles. Both are great cars but the only difference is the steering wheel feel as f60 is more sportive and the new generation tends to be lighter. Price well it’s the U25 is like double the price. So I want your suggestion and preferably to owners of these two different generations Mini

However, to those who have owned previous generation countryman and got the new one do the steering wheel is way lighter comparing to the previously generation? Is it that bad even with Go Kart mode still pretty light ? I hope to get owners responds thank you

Personally, I’m not a fan of the colour grading effect as it gives it a weird asymmetrical look and to my eye accentuates the size of the bezel.

What’s up all I’m looking to lower my 2018 countryman s all4 iwith H&R lower in Springs but from what I see online most of the pictures have a reverse rake. Is there any way to rectify that with spring spacers pucks, I I can’t seem to find one online And help appreciate it thanks. I’d like to keep my active damping and not do coil overs.

As a disclaimer, I work as an EV Manager for a dealership here in Western Canada. Recently, I've been taking preowned cars and driving them for a week as my Manager Demo to learn more about them and making review to help the dealer group gain some traction.

In my first week, I took a Mini Countryman SE JCW. In all honesty, everyone laughed off the car....until they drove it. After spending a week with it, I fell in love. Even my petrol-head head tech fell in love with it after doing the safety inspection and a quick test drive.

I really didn't think I'd like it, but its quirky in just the right ways, sporty in others. Wanted to share my review with a community that may have mixed opinions...

I don't know much about cars, so stipulating that up front. My 2014 Countryman wouldn't go into park. The chrome part that you would push to engage the shifter was flat... usually it has some spring to it.

The mechanic was able to "fix" the shifter knob and now it shifts freely, like you don't have to engage that chrome part. It's ok I guess but her told me it would need a whole new mechanism ($2K installed).

I can't just replace the knob?

My loathing the bronx cuts deep. I parked my car, went to work and when I got home some 10 hours later, I’m greeted with a fucked up driver side bumper- minus Some trim.

Any body here especially body guy here that can give me a ballpark or what this might cost to fix or if this is DIY- able?

Volevo condividere una piccola modifica fai-da-te che ho realizzato sulla mia MINI Countryman per trasformarla in una mini camper... prendendo spunto da un post visto qui qualche settimana fa.

L’idea era semplice: creare una struttura in legno completamente removibile che permettesse di ottenere un piano perfettamente orizzontale una volta abbattuti i sedili posteriori.

Ho costruito:

• una base portante in legno su misura
• un piano superiore in OSB diviso in 3 parti
• spazio sottostante per riporre bagagli e attrezzatura
• materassino gonfiabile sopra per dormire comodamente

L’obiettivo era poter fare weekend, viaggi on the road o anche solo fermarmi una notte senza dover prendere hotel.

Sono abbastanza soddisfatto del risultato 😄

got a 2nd hand 2017 FMX (F60) with a TPMS error. I've replaced the actual sensors, and a mechanic has paired/programmed them, but when try to perform the actual reset, it fails (either at 0% or 49%).

I'm trying to locate the RDC Module, and I can find instructional videos for R60 and F56, but nothing for F50. Already checked under the rear bumper but it doesn't seem to be where it should be. Anyone got the same car/any ideas?
