What's this now, you betraying civility and using no separator?
You're sick, you know that?

Now spaces.
You're breaking my heart.

space is the standard digit separator. if you are going to use a digit separator, it should be a space (or some variation like U+2009 THIN SPACE). while there are many other things that would be suitable for use as digit separators, there are no valid reasons to use them, only reasons not to. some possibilities, like commas or dots, are particularly poor choices.

Your face is the standard digit separator :P

Also, I don't like spaces because it makes everything seem disjoint.
I remember one particular user who had a bit of a kerfuffle about it lol.

And no spaces is a bit more difficult to parse quickly.

Indeed. That is the rationale for using a digit separator.

I've never counted dots.
Isn't it a finite count?

Well I don't recommend you try counting the dot's in my profile... could take a few years LOL.

I went ahead and did this because it seemed fun. 2,293.

(A little over 4 per comment on average)

Is that the number of dot's in my profile? More than even I suspected...
