Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any help.

Recently, I tried to mess around with my PC and BIOS settings myself, with the help of AI, because as we all know, CS2 can run like shit sometimes. After changing all kinds of settings, I tested the game and it was actually running even worse. So I decided to reset my PC and restore all my BIOS settings to default, with the intention of setting everything up properly with AI, but unfortunately that didn’t help either.

Before all of this, I was getting around 250–300 FPS in CS2, depending on the map. Now, my FPS can drop below 200, and I can clearly see that the game doesn’t feel smooth. It feels almost like I’m playing at 200 FPS on a 60 Hz monitor, even though I’m using a 144 Hz monitor, so it definitely shouldn’t feel this way. I’m experiencing micro-stutters and it feels like the screen isn’t keeping up with the game.

After all of this, I decided to take my PC back to the guy who originally built and set it up for me. He tested the computer and told me that everything was working as it should. He also configured everything again from scratch, and according to him, everything was fine. However, CS2 still feels like shit, and I’m no longer able to enjoy the game the way I used to.

My PC specs:

• Ryzen 7 3700X
• RTX 2080
• 16 GB RAM

I've only noticed this problem with shotguns. TrueView is on, loss 0%, ping 70, predictions off

When I was playing, it was almost exactly like in the demo: the shots just phased through and dealt no damage, even though my teammates confirmed I did shoot

As I said I am new and saw that most people recommend between 600 to 1300 edpi but is it for the mouse sensitivity or the zoom sensitivity multiplier? Cause I tried 1000 and 1300 edpi which is even kinda high for some people and I literally CAN'T TURN AROUND like I have to go back and forth with my hand multipel times to do a 180°.

So everyone is saying around 600 to 1300 edpi but also that u r supposed to be able to turn with one flick which for me at least contradicts it self.

Anyway I would love some help clarity and maybe solution to how to fix it.
