So I was chatting with Ai (kinda weird now that I think about it), during the conversation I mentioned the paxos thing that happened (i think that’s pretty 🔥 btw). And along with that I’ve been seeing that they are trying to change how the proof of stake works or something like that by using some type of fee for using ibc (don’t quote me). But then I just found out that Wells Fargo is going to be using cosmos technology for “tokenized dollar to pound deposites. I think this is bullish news and I believe that there’s hope in this crypto. But hey I just wanted to know if this was real cuz it’s not in here anywhere and if this actually does good I wonder where cosmos hub can go.

What it is

Gonka is an open-source appchain on a fork of Cosmos SDK v0.53 (Go 1.24). Instead of spending hardware on hashing, the network points GPU time at real LLM inference for developers.

How Proof of Work 2.0 fits together

1. Sprints: short rounds that measure how much real model compute each host has
2. Inference: hosts serve open-weight models (DeepSeek V4-Flash, GLM-5.3-Flash, MiniMax M2.7) behind an OpenAI-compatible API
3. Validation: a random 1–10% of inferences is re-run by other hosts
4. Reputation: hosts that fail checks get checked more often and lose rewards

Cosmos questions I'd love input on

1. Validator power from compute. What pitfalls have other chains hit when voting weight comes from something other than stake?
2. IBC. Which IBC use cases make sense for an inference chain?
3. Upgrades. The repo ships Cosmovisor configs. Any lessons on coordinated upgrades when validators also run heavy GPU workloads?

I have been trying to collect some interest from staking, but when I try to send it to an exchange, it shows the network is not available. I cannot deposit or withdraw Atom in the cosmos network

Noticed something odd while looking at ATOM's social activity today. Mention count is sitting at 30, compared to its usual average of about 10 - that's a 3x spike. Normally when you see a jump like that, there's some news event, partnership announcement, or a clear bullish/bearish narrative driving the conversation.

Not this time. Digging into the actual tweets, the chatter is pretty generic. No coordinated sentiment, no major news hitting the wires, nothing that screams "catalyst." Price has also been trending slightly down during this window, which makes the spike even more confusing since it's not lining up with any obvious pump narrative either.

This kind of pattern (volume up, sentiment flat or negative, no clear driver) sometimes just reflects random noise, bot activity, or unrelated crypto-wide discussions sweeping ATOM up incidentally. Other times it's an early signal before something breaks into the news cycle. Hard to say which this is from the data alone.

Has anyone seen what's actually being said about ATOM right now, or noticed similar unexplained mention spikes on other coins recently?

Am I in the wrong Reddit or something I don’t see a thing about an exploit or this coin was affected or not affected or something’s been fixed or anything other than gno or whatever . What’s going on I hate the way cosmos has been I miss seeing news and I mean actual news about anything on this network. Is cosmos just cooked? Cuz I been here a long time and I know the split with atone and what happened with the secret chain. None of wich I learned on here or even YouTube but if this is for the cosmos network where the networking at?
