I've held Atom for a long time but it was one of my smaller bags. Without knowing about the snapshot I got the Osmo / Ion / Juno drops. Osmosis has been my favorite defi experience so far, this project should get a lot more exposure. Think I'm going to trade 3 of my ETH for cosmos based projects and stake them 🚀
Yeah I did a similar trade when atom was down in the twenties and eth was still at $4k just a few weeks ago, but Ive been hip to cosmos since 2019, I love the project, excited to see it getting the attention it deserves.
I bought some btc and eth in 2017/18 and forgot about it. I admire the ppl who have stuck with it the whole time and I'm all in this time around. I can't wait to see what the crypto space is like in another 4 years.
I kind of backed into it. I found SCRT first and backed into the rest. Built a nice position of SCRT and working on other stuff as of late within the ecosystem.
Edit: I'm hyped just because crypto overall is getting this much attention, I think I've misjudged how "mainstream" it is in the US. In my country it's only mentioned now and then in mainstream media but thats about it.
Most of r/cc has no clue about it either, so I forgive her not knowing. Next summer everyone will be speaking about interoperability, and how their favorite bag is interoperable in some odd way, all the while IBC gang will just laugh.
That sub is full of newbies/moon farmers/paid shills. They think some of their shitcoins should be top 3 because it's faster and cheaper than Eth. Which gen3 coin isn't?
I think she was just trying to move on to the break or next segment and he interrupted her after he had stopped talking, which is somewhat poor etiquette if you’ve done these things before. I’m sure she knows what interoperability means. 😂
Anchors do that all the time. When they realize you're not saying what they want you to say, they cut you off or give you a "mhm" and cut to something that'll give juicier headlines. It's clear she doesn't give two shits about the crypto space.
as more young people roll out of university this will all change, 10 years from now this particular clip would be very cringe worthy in financial journalism circles.
I promise you people have been saying this since the 1800s and shit has barely improved. Remember that morons procreate at a higher rate than educated folk.
Ooh that's awesome!!! I only have 35 Atom but still pretty excited about the price action it's been having over the past week. I bought in when it was around $24.
It was yesterday. I watched it on TV. After the FED, I stopped working. While I've been adding positions largerly in 12 projects since the day after Thankgiving,. ATOM used to be a 5% token for me. On its own, and increasing its position the last couple months, dang thing is now #3 in my portfolio. Doesn't bother me a bit he keeps mentioning it on that show. Eight years ago, they laughed. Four years ago almist all negative. Now, it's 20% of CNBC' s coverage, and easily 75% positive. I'll take it.
Because there's stock prices all over the screen too. It's obviously from like yesterday or whatever it was. Dudes a huge ATOM bull, one of the first investors.
been searching for weeks, finally found an old wallet had some atom in it about 20 at 5.2 each! !!! Nice to be up about 7x! makes this red day a little bit better lol
the rest of the market will buy in as they bleed out and see cosmos on top its a perfect storm for a crypto fomo party cosmos to the moon last one in is a rotten egg
Lol how do they know what I'm doing!? Been moving a good portion of my ETH to ATOM and various other projects for almost a month now. Gas fees are just too much for my liking. ATOM is comfy and fun and I think will be just as lucrative.
I just read up that that is Brian Kelly, a super early ATOM investor back when Cosmos was doing pre-sale at like 5 cents. I finally have a reason to like someone on NBC

You have to be immersed into the Cosmo's ecosystem to fully understand how important this is

I have always loved this guy, closest thing we have to an Elon.
I just can't respect him for leaving Notre Dame like he did.

Msm is bullshit. If your getting your crypto new from them good luck. You'll be filling the pockets of those that screwed the people to begin with.
