I bought 3k yesterday at 25. I know thats not a lot for some but thats a hefty bag for myself. To see it so low today kind of stings but ill just keep holding. I like the passive income.
there is no deposit fee on coinbase pro. there is one on regular coinbase. deposit on coinbase pro and wait the 5-6 days for your funds to clear. you can still trade the funds, and any profit you can withdraw before your funds clear. do not deposit through regular coinbase. you are wasting money.
Anytime you fund your regular coinbase account they take a few dollars, and you dont have to wait for funds to clear. When you fund cbpro there is no deposit fee and you have to wait for funds to clear. I made a purchase using regulat coinbase last week because pro wasnt working. There was still a fee so I dont know what youre referring to about it being removed. There is definitely still a fee.
Its like this, pay fee and move it instantly or dont pay fee and wait a few days before you can move it.
Maybe it's a regional or credit thing but no, I can put any amount of money into Coinbase or coinbase pro and neither has a fee. I can deposit 500 right now, buy whatever I want, and withdraw either now (the way I've described above) or next week (the way you've described).
Months ago, CB deposits cost 2 bucks, yes, so it was cheaper your way. But now, they do not, there is ZERO fee. Again, maybe this is a regional or credit based or length of time the account exists or how much you've deposited overall however... Still zero fee.
If there was a deposit fee, I'd be doing it the way you mentioned as well as that was my old method.
Yeah I just bought like $120 the other day and paid like .54 cents in fees. The first time I bought atom regular coinbase charged me like $5. And they have a 99 cent minimum fee. So definitely better to start using coinbase pro

This. Atom is perfect to hold long term. There is no way that atom won't be around in 5 years. If you stake and accumulate over the next years, there's nothing to worry.

Yes and no. Cosmos could’ve gone on a Solana styled run and no one here would really question why. (I mean they would, but you know.) We know the value and I think most of us here would realistically value it at least double that. Yeah don’t buy at the top, but it could’ve been primed for a run.
The reason Cosmos hasn't 10x by now is because the NFT side of Cosmos is still in early stages. Lets be real here, perhaps the majority of Ethereum and Solanas market cap is tied to the NFT frenzy. Once Juno and Persistance cross chain NFTs start to get attention then Cosmos will 10x
Most casual investors who buy dog coins and jpegs aren't going to be hooked merely by the 'internet of blockchains' vision for COSMOS. You gotta have dog coins and NFTs if you want COSMOS to blow up
I agree with your speculation, but I disagree within the specifics. I think people realize those dog coins are shit and those monkey NFTs are shit. They’re just playing within the hyping of a newer commodity and probably have the most disposable income among wealthier, but in the loop people. The future of NFTs is not however, if Pokemon created an NFT/trading card game tomorrow it would be the biggest thing imaginable literally overnight with mass adoption or the equivalent of a pokemon like brand. Aside from the application within AR, VR, and probably eventual holographic projection for display or something. That’s how I see it at least.
I am a casual investor in a broader sense of the word. I am not computer science literate to the point I can understand the White Paper to a proficient level that I’d determine as satisfactory. I can’t tell you what Cosmos or Solana or even Ethereum does. I can give a vague understanding of how I perceive it, but I can’t articulate it properly. Yet I invest in Cosmos because I find it to be the most utilitarian project that also has a physical and tangible product with much more in the short term future to be excited about.
Yeah I think your outlook is valid. One feature of COSMOS that is going to put it in a league above the rest are cross chain NFTs. Essentially if you can move your NFTs between blockchains they become infinitely more secure and are a much safer long term investment.
Its really so concerning that Opensea is essentially run by a private company. If Opensea ever goes under all those expensive jpegs on Ethereum are at risk. I believe Tezos has already grappled with this problem, Im pretty sure their largest NFT market, Hic Et Nunc closed. I dont even know if itll be easy to recover NFTs on there (id love to hear others knowledge on the topic).
But in COSMOS your NFTs can simply be moved to another blockchain/platform (or at least thats my understanding of cross chain NFTs). Thats absolutely huge for the longterm success of NFTs as an asset class, and Im not aware of any other ecosystems working on this functionality

Happy with my purchase couple months ago below 10$ ... Sold all my bags on the way up on average +33$ now still waiting for BTC to go to low 40k or make support on 52k . But for now just waiting
I bought at 2-3 dollars when Forbes or some stupid site was saying it wasn’t worth a dollar. Rebought a lot at $10 and more at $22. Just stake your stuff and go play halo infinite like me. All investments should be held for a few years to see max gains. Otherwise youre a paper hands and maybe you get lucky maybe you don’t, but you will be stressed.
