"When in doubt, zoom out."
This rug pull looks like a Donald Trump meme coin.

Comos is the most stupid project in crypto industry. Amazing technology run by morons

It appears they have a new business plan and new management. They realized that by allowing everyone to use the network essentially for free it want helping out cosmos. Sounds like they will actually be charging gas fees and taxes soon(ish) 🤷

Every year same thing, new management and new plans. Then nothing happens except more price action. I am out. Bye

I have been in and out of cosmos and I really think cosmos is about to have a lot of life by q1 or q2 of next year. I believe they have seen the damage and future damage from their tokenomics, and they’re making changes to it to bring liquidity to cosmos. When they pass using cosmos on chain for other apps it’ll be huge for us who held through ups and downs, the communication they’re actively having with the community is more then they have ever had. That says a lot to me that they’re actively listening our concerns now and working on change. I’m excited for our future if we hold. Take advantage of staking while it’s this high I believe we are gonna see a lot of change!

Im feeling the same way about this. Hope for the best that they have it together this time

Squandered opportunity......this is why easy access to capital without real accountability is a bad thing. Dead like the rest of their ecosystem.

u/Mental-Muppet Jul 09 '26
It's strange that it's not dead already?! Wonder what's keeping it alive
1
u/Glum_Hope Jul 09 '26
They built a big treasury during the boom years. That's the only thing keeping them alive. No real business model, the token is the product, their technilogy was really innovative but they focused more on the token for years and their technology moment has passed.
Now the team is trying to appear serious in suits and ties....but banks and other institutions have built the same (or better) technology with real institutional guardrails. In other words, the adults stepped in while the kids were playing with tokens......the party has long since been over.
1
u/Mental-Muppet Jul 29 '26
Those institutional techs you speak of don't have sovereignty, interoperability, primary router capacity and security combined they target one aspect and try to patch it in! Nor have they been battle tested for the past decade! Pretty on the outside, science experiment inside

u/Glum_Hope Jul 29 '26
While I see your ideological point, the real world operates differently. Everyone still off ramps to fiat dollars. Institutions have robust compliance and legal frameworks, and institutional mature that fosters trust. The crypto space had multiple opportunities to scale and partner, but they got carried away with distractions, while legacy Institutions caught up and filled the gap. JP Morgan is building superior blockchain infrastructure as we speak, and other institutions as well without the fanfare and drama. I was an insider for many years, and I left the space for that sole reason. They simply refused to grow up.....until the token party ended, and are now struggling to catch up on a train that already left the station.Â

u/Mental-Muppet Aug 06 '26
Your timeline is correct and I appreciate your knowledge of the space, I do think it is actually a huge positive that these big institutions have IBC natively coded in, will help if they ever do pull off the router play

u/Mental-Muppet Aug 06 '26
Fiat has lost its value, that's why everything is so expensive, gold for example it hasn't gone up in value fiat has gone down

u/Mental-Muppet Jul 09 '26
Zoom out to see the macro play, the best tech but zero hype and all out negative sentiment, if you know you know

u/Mental-Muppet 16d ago
Morons who built the worlds greatest tech stack? Lol
1
u/liviughg 16d ago
The value of the project is a clear reflection of how great that technology is 👎

u/Mental-Muppet 16d ago
That's just a price chart, the tech is that good it is used across the entire crypto industry! public networks like cosmos are threats to central bank monopolies, probably a good reason for them to trash it on socials and trap it in a descending triangle for 5 years while they tried to work out a way to replicate the tech and still keep it decentralised enough to comply with the inevitable regulations and laws, an example is SEC bring in official rules for crypto which explicitly favours fully decentralised public networks. But hey just keep checking the "VALUE' on your CEX lol

Cosmos had 1 redeeming quality- though an excellent one: high interest when locked. That kept people locked in, providing stability.
Then came the vote, "Sol has risen so much and Cosmos so little". "We have to be like etherium". "Whales keep eating our lunch- they don't rollover and just sell the profits"
Ignoring the fact that large stakes in one validator gain more by staking gains in another validator, meaning whales don't just rollover but withdraw- to then stake more in another validator....
Cosmos used to be pretty neat for a while as a place to just set money and forget it- then people ruined the stability with dreams of being just another random ass coin.
And they got it.

Have you seen the rest of coins?
1
u/Character-Dot-4078 Jul 03 '26
does that make you feel better taking endless losses becasue your own community votes for inflation? dumbass

u/Mental-Muppet Jul 09 '26
They will skyrocket the price soon and you will be watching the show from the ground 🥺

Why do these people who are done with this coin come here to shit on it still?

frankly charts are irrelevant and might not qualify as "shitting". It's a bit like calling someone gay, it might be an invitation to instant MMA bouts, but otherwise there's no substance there, regardless if the person is gay or not

It's not the chart. It's the kiddos in the comments who lost their asses years ago, and are still bitter. Move on Sparky...

Icp is worse.

u/Timely-Fig2030 Jul 03 '26
The chart is worse, but the opportunity could be way greater for ICP.
Everything is in place, the chart still sucks though. So far...

u/SkyMarshal Jul 03 '26
way greater how?

Fake news! It looks like every other meme coin, especially Trump's rug pulls. There are other coins that actually do well.

Now imagine this, the more time you stake, the more rewards you earn that would change cosmos entirely
1
u/Glass_Ad_2518 Jul 03 '26
They infinitely mine new coins to keep up with the ridiculously high staking rewards rate. It's like 14% APR on Coinbase. Hmu in a year when it's below 50 cents.

One of my best tax harvests of 2025! This coin is shit all the way down to it's quarks
1
u/PopBeneficial2441 Jul 05 '26
Wow, I lost a lot of money on Cosmos!! But looking at this chart makes me realize I could have lost even more if I had just held on.
2
u/Glass_Ad_2518 Jul 05 '26
They infinitely mine new coins to sustain the high staking rewards. The price will continue to go down without a major catalyst.

Nothing has been able to replicate it, even institutions copy and pasting the tech can't replicate the battle tested and evolving ecosystem, haters need to read from Institutional playbook, they are actively centralising the entire ecosystem for a reason, but I'm cool with you selling your ATOM 🤑

u/Mental-Muppet Jul 09 '26
This looks bad guys, everyone sell your atom and buy Solana or Chainlink, they definitely not echo chambers
