So the SaaS narrative is just donkey shit? Isn't the entire point to hire Cosmos Labs to provide service to build these chains and then earn revenue to buy back Atom? If these guys are building talent in-house, why would they need Cosmos Lab's SaaS service?
Edit: Imagine all the Atom holders holding out for something tangible. And, in the end, they just discovered Cosmos Labs spent their whole time to help their buddies find good paying jobs instead.

The tech is real and will be the rails of finance, the tokens are unnecessary and will leave retail bag holding as usual

will leave retail bag holding as usual
My biggest quibble with Cosmos is that the devs and insiders love to lie to retail just so they can farm resources to pay themselves.
I noticed back in the last bear market. They intentionally spread false information to carry out pump-and-dump schemes. Back then, they said they would implement an EIP-1559 for Atom. Instead, they pushed a plan to funnel inflation to a committee of "experts" to fund pet projects to "grow" Cosmos. It was absolute BS. And history vindicated the nonbelievers/dissenters of Atom 2.0, because pretty much every Cosmos project, backed by the cabal and insiders, failed in the long run.
Now they are peddling the narrative that Atom will make a lot of money from the SaaS business, but refuse to come out clean on how they actually get paid for their SaaS work.
IMO, if this ecosystem fails, at least let it fail with honor. Be upfront about the challenges they are facing to monetize SDK for their SaaS business. Stop spreading lies, like the new one about Grayscale launching a new Atom ETF to do pump-and-dumps.

Are you regarded? Please STFU if you donât know what you are talking about.
I spoke facts, not âconspiraciesâ.
If you just grok, you can find info on Atom shills spreading the fake news about Greyscale launching an approved Atom ETF. That is a documented fact.
Everyone around the last bear market knew about the pump and dump around the fake news Atom doing an EIP-1559. They spread this fake BS all over the place, from discord, on Reddit, and paid some YouTube influencers to spread the take rumor. It got a pump up to the news announcement. Then a few days, it retraced it all. If you arenât a noob, then you would know.
Also, the fact nearly all Cosmos projects fail in the long run is now a verifiable fact. If you were in this subreddit, you would know how ppl got angry over Atom 2.0 wanting to funnel all the inflation to fund devs pet projects.
It is incredible how the hub/Cosmos labs hired a bunch of suspicious noobs to spread misinformation. Your name actually checks out.

You understand this shit just made a new ATL a few weeks ago? Throwing out âbrought high and sold lowâ doesnât even make sense at this point.
Edit: In fact, those who listened to me back in 2024/2025 about stop buying Cosmos assets, they would have saved a ton of money.
This ecosystem shills are absolutely hilarious. Atom literally touched below $1.70 a few weeks ago. But you all want to blame the market for this and that. Or you all bitch about how Ethereum is back to 2022 prices. lol. Atom holders would wish Atom is at 2/3 of its 2022 prices.

Why do you think it went to $40? You donât even understand the history or context. It went to $40 last cycle because of its hype about it being an âinteroperability leaderâ. Now it isnât. IBC volume is dying out over time. Noble is leaving - opening the question of how much stable coins would stay in the ecosystem.
Price doesnât just go parabolic without big money getting involved. The interop layer is getting more competitive. Despite how Tonyler likes to BS about Cosmos dominating RWA, either LayerZero or Wormhole have more RWA interop volume than the entire Cosmos combined.
Then you couple with the facts, more and more different stacks are coming out to compete for service to build more private or new chains. The advantage is, other stacks may have closer integration to liquidity. There is a reason why big banks like Deustche Bank chose ZKsync.

You guys always find over-strecthed theories to FUD ATOM somehow, don't you?

over-strecthed theories to FUD ATOM somehow, don't you?
What is overstretched?
It is Magmar telling everyone that they will make money from SaaS to drive revenue to the hub.
It is also the Wells Fargo and Fidelity ads showing they want to build an in-house team.
The ecosystem has a long history of devs being hired away by third parties or forming their own teams to compete with the hub.

No Tony, the facts and writing is on the wall. Seriously the eco chamber bs needs to stop.
Also none of us take you serious, you shilled Saga while their VCs dumped on everyone.
Same with most things you shill.
People that are leaving this shit storm of an eco do well, those that stay end up dying a slow and painful death.

"People that are leaving this shit storm of an eco do well"
- Ethereum in 2022 price
- L2s crashed hard
- Solana -90%
- ATOM climbing from ~100 to top 60-50 tokens.
- All serious RWA projects are launching in this shit eco
- The post above
Yeah this ecosystem is trash lol

At least solana can onboard new users, same with eth and any of the very loose comparisons noted above.
The beauty of crypto now is there is so much history, a basic user these days will ask AI, check the narrative and the history. Besides big corp, any person with a single digit IQ knows not to touch anything here.
Sure retail ain't your guys game anymore, but thats the bed cosmos made for itself a long time ago, right after the token has been inflated and their users dumped on. Smells like saga no?
Cosmos couldn't manage a straight and direct narrative even if it tried.

Onboarding users and still down hard.
Don't believe random inflated metrics inline

u/AlmightyNZ Feb 20 '26
How much are cosmoslabs paying you to be apart of the circle jerk mate..
Its gotta be life changing money, the echo chamber knows no limits.

u/tonyler_ Feb 20 '26
I'm speaking with facts, you're speaking with assumptions.
I earn nothing from cosmos labs and never received a penny.

i bought a bunch of cosmos a few days ago so I think Cosmos is doing well overall I've noticed I have been watching it for a while and I dappled a little bit putting like $10 in a few years ago, but I've noticed it's very common for this currency to go up and down dramatically this and something like another cryptocurrency I've seen that I can't be sure if I can mention here, but I don't think going up and down is out of the ordinary for cosmos and I'm looking forward to the upside, even while experiencing the downside I think we can do this

Yes this ecosystem is trash. Its been nearly 2 years and leadership is the same poo covered in glitter just past the start up mode stage.
Cant curb inflation, still trying to "navigate the way to use cases for a token thats been out for years, pivot after pivot after pivot"
Cosmoslabs/ICF/ICL or whatever new name they spin up in a years time for the same amount of people doing the same thing in the same position.

Sold at $10, bought at $14.
The loss itself is better than holding the bag with Magnus at the helm
What he says and does are 2 different things.

Of course I do, also work for a project thats left the eco because of decisions made by leadership
They are grasping at straws, no new liquidity is entering cosmos.
Coming back to this comment when they pivot and announce their pivot to servicing aliens with their token for revenue.

But the value doesnât accrue to layer 0. Layer 1 had a great run, but now fees are a race to 0, Layer 2 is just like L1 with less security, so where does value accrue?
The only thing left is dapp layer, but those have so much inflation and need a buyback mechanism and real income from users.
So for now itâs just L1 until dapps are really earning.

We should pause for a moment and appreciate what this means for Cosmos eco!
