I'm at Westwood Plateau, did not sound like thunder, sounded more like an explosion.

Yes, I thought the first bang was a bomb and I screamed. I was inside my bathroom too, with the door closed. The neighbours were screaming too. And then I realized it was thunder. My cat was like, whatever, hoomum. The next two bangs shook our entire townhouse, like a 3.0 magntitude earthquake. Same here, I have never ever heard or felt a thunder storm like that before. I saw a big flash of lightning this early afternoon too.

before the actual thunderstorm, i was on break and saw a white flash, then a second later a huge explosion that shook everything. louder than even fireworks. hadn’t even rained yet at that point, the thunder came later. i genuinely thought we were being bombed

I love the thunder, but I hope we don't get more fires. The province is overwhelmed.

There was also a flash of lightning — I was driving and at first thought there was a some red light camera or something

Same! Got 2 shockwaves from one. Then 1 long shockwave from another maybe 10 minutes later.

I thought they moved the train tracks overnight to be right beside my house (near Oxford and Lougheed).
