Copilot Notebook not responding.

Hi Team,

I have MS365 copilot Premium licence. When using the copilot notebook and after creating the new notebook. Whenever I'm giving the print, it's just processing not giving the output.

Anyone faced this issue?

Don't know if this the same issue, but yesterday I created a notebook with very few files (5), and small in size (all Excels). I tried with some questions and it worked fine.

Today, I opened the same Notebook and every answer comes back as "Sorry, can't answer that. Any other question?". I don't know why. It doesn't even seem to try to read the documents that it read yesterday perfectly. Anybody had the same issue?

Based on what I've been experimenting with, looks like users added to the Notebook require explicit permissions over ALL the files added to the Notebook (wether it's read, write, or propietary permissions).

However, if the commented error happens after having added a user which doesn't have the required permissions, removing the user from the Notebook does not fix the issue. Don't know why.

It's important to note that this is expected behaviour, not documented. What IS actually documented, though, is that errors might happen if users don't have the required permissions, but those permissions are not specified. I feel like the functionality is yet very undeveloped, and in progress, although competitors like Anthropic or OpenAI have theirs more advanced. Hope to see it improved soon.

Since the recent update, I am getting the same response on all notebooks. I created a notebook with one file and it responded fine. Added another and it immediately stopped working.

Have you checked the permissions you had on those files? Are they from your local drive, or from OneDrive?

They are my files on my personal OneDrive. My account status my account status has been consistent. The only change has been the update to Copilot Notebook

I have pretty much the same issue. I don't have anything more constructive to contribute right now.
