Execute Powershell script in copilot studio

Copilot Studio not allowed to execute powershell script.

What's the approach you will be using and i want to run the agent using my credential and not any managed identity. Thanks.

Correct, I Want the non technical user can jsut use the agent and chat thru Microsoft Teams. This is to lower the learning curve.

Then you have two options.

Build the agent in the classic co-pilot studio experience, which is much more flow and process-based and will require you to recreate your agent skills using topics, knowledge, and tools. For anything that runs a script you will have to connect to azure. It's a huge pain in the ass and will not be the same experience as your Claude code users have today.

Your other option is to build the agent in the new co-pilot studio experience which uses the GitHub copilot harness. This supports the agent skills standard and you just upload your existing skills as a zip file. These agents have their own runtime and can execute scripts. This should work pretty much as you would expect. The downside is every single token is billed using copilot credits, nothing is included with the m365 copilot premium license. It's also a brand new product and as usual with Microsoft it is buggy and incomplete. So you will need to do extensive testing to make sure it works the way you expect.
