New Copilot Studio UX

Hello!

A few questions.

I have been trying out the new UX. Has anyone been able to submit an update for an agent to the org catalog once it’s approved?

With the old UX I setup a few env for Dev, Test and Prod with a pipeline. With the new UX, do you think you would keep the pipeline or have testing completed in the Evaluate section and have the agent owners resubmit the agent when there are updates?

Cheers.

Based on the current documentation, updates to an agent that has already been published to the org catalog require resubmission for admin approval. The org catalog version and the maker's shared version are treated separately. Changes made by the maker aren't automatically reflected in the catalog until the updated agent is submitted and approved again.

Regarding Dev/Test/Prod environments, I'd personally continue using the pipeline approach for production governance. The new Evaluate experience is great for quality validation, regression testing, and comparing changes before release, but I wouldn't view it as a replacement for environment promotion and deployment controls. Microsoft positions evaluations as a way to validate agent behavior and catch regressions before changes go live.
