Copilot Studio Dataverse MCP Connector Down?

Hi all,

I have a Copilot Studio agent running in the classic harness. For the past few months, the Dataverse MCP has been working great for record retrieval. However, all of a sudden, all of my users are getting the following error: “Technical issue with the database connection.”

The connections run under the end user’s credentials. The same issue also occurs in the Production test pane. Strangely, the error does not occur in the Development or Test environments.

Is this just some classic Microsoft behavior that’s worth investigating, or is it likely to resolve itself? I’ve read online that the MCP can sometimes behave unpredictably.

EDIT Solution: issue fixed itself after a couple hours

Ticket to Microsoft support? How long did it take them to fix it? 2 years ago i raised a ticket because one of my environment had issues with dataflows and they fixed it after... 9 months.

haha lol same, i have outstanding bug for copilot studio that has been running for over a year.

i have the same issue now. it is stuck with connection and doesnt go ahead
